Travel Try Outs

The first skate for the travel tryouts will be on Thursday April 20 from 4:30-8:30.

Atom: 4:30
Peewee: 5:30
Bantam: 6:30
Midget: 7:30

WOMEN'S NATIONAL TEAM TO PRACTICE & SCRIMMAGE IN LEAMINGTON!!

Canada's national women's hockey team comes to Leamington, Ont. next week in the lead up to the world championship in Michigan.

Spectators are invited to watch Ruthven's Meghan Agosta and the rest of the team take to the ice for a series of practices and scrimmages between March 24-29 at the Leamington Kinsmen Recreation Complex.

What a great opportunity to see them!

Interested in Refereeing or Timekeeping

Are you interested in becoming a Referee or Timekeeper for the 2017/2018 season?

We are looking for applicants to join our Referee Association for next season. If you want to become a referee or timekeeper, here are the requirements:

Referee:
-must be 14 years of age by December 31st, 2017
-have the ability to skate both forwards and backwards (being a good skater is a plus)
-available to attend the clinic in early September
-access to email; having a cell phone is preferred
-own player skates and have the ability to acquire relevant equipment

Timekeepers:

-14 years of age by December 31st, 2017 (exceptions can be granted provided proven responsibility)
-must able to multitask and write legibly
-knowledge of the game is an asset

Please bring the following with you to Day of Champs this Sunday and leave at the Registration Desk:

-A “Hockey/Skating” Resume detailing your skating/hockey experience (how long you have played, what levels, how long you have been skating) and any other related responsibilities
-Please have your contact information (email, phone number, name, address) listed on the resume


Recreation Subsidy

Recreation Subsidy Funding is available for children ages up to 17 years of age and seniors 55+ through Pathway to Potential and Canadian Tire Jumpstart Programs.
