Girls Hockey is Booming in Lakeshore and Essex. Lakeshore Lightning is one of the fastest-growing girls’ hockey programs. Our registration has increased by 44 percent over the past three seasons and outpacing the national average of 30 percent.

COACH HER. INSPIRE HER.  Lakeshore Lightning and Essex Thunder are looking for House League Coaches for the upcoming girls’ hockey season, especially in the U9, U11, and U22 divisions!

Lakeshore Lightning & Essex Thunder – 2025/2026 Season Registration Opens May 1st We’re excited to announce that registration for the 2025/2026 season opens May 1st! We’re expecting another record turnout, and spots are limited — registration is first-come, first-served.

Congratulations to the U13 White Lakeshore Lightning on winning GOLD at the Woodstock Wildcats tournament this past weekend! ️ The team went undefeated across all 5 games, showing their incredible teamwork and determination.  The championship game was a thrilling nail-biter against Collingwood, with the Lightning securing a 4-2 victory!   We’re so proud of these talented athletes and their hard work on and off the ice. Way to represent Lakeshore Lightning!
